Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has told the Kop not to worry about his uncertain future and urged everyone to give their all to the team as they look to secure two major trophies.

Liverpool are set to defend their Carabao Cup title against Newcastle and are well on course to claim the Premier League title after leading by 15 points.
However, many fans are still concerned ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี about the future of Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, whose contracts with the team only last until the end of this season.
“As long as I stay calm and composed, there is nothing to panic about, no matter what the future holds,” Van Dijk said. “If I was nervous, you would have seen me playing nervously, but not now.”
“Maybe I’ll play until my contract ends. If there’s no news, I don’t know what will happen. But I don’t want this to worry anyone. I just want to focus on helping the team win the next 10 games.”
“All I can do now is stand by the manager, my teammates and the fans. As for the future, we will wait until the end of the season and everything will be clear. I have said many times that I am proud to be the captain of this great club, a club that means a lot to me and my family.”
The Dutchman also confirmed defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss the final against Newcastle with an ankle injury but, as Mail Sport reported earlier this week, the vice-captain is hoping to play again this season. Defender Ibrahima Konate has passed a fitness test.
